Semi-Permanent Presents: Mixed Business
Convenience stores are a bit of a letdown, it takes 5 minutes for these little strip-lit quick-e-marts to pop up, what happened to the corner store with the old Greek guy offering chocolate cigarettes and jelly snakes ? . .Mixed business is bringing it back, with some hand folded baklava . .or at least it’s graphic equivalent . .expect the usual surprises.
Secret Wars – Sydney
There has been a groundswell of hype surrounding the Secretwars events in London with main-man Terry landing some good sponsors and getting the format showcased all over Europe. Now its Sydney’s turn with the first night planned for Thursday 11th Feb at NameThisBar? who have done the right thing and given up their precious walls to be drawn all over. If all goes to plan it would only be a matter of time before we see it head off down the Hume Highway for a go in Melbourne the capital of culture, definitely something to look forward to.
